Dining Hall Chair

“Adopt a Chair Programme

Chairs are $250 each and proceeds go toward funding future
Inglis Education Foundation Scholarships.
Graduation is the time of year when students like to leave their mark. Our Adopt a Chair Programme is a special way to allow our Graduating Class to do just that. Perhaps it is human nature to do so, but it is amazing to see where students will leave their names. Each year we find names on mattresses and chapel pews, lockers and classroom desks, bathroom stalls and picnic tables. The desire to leave proof or a trace of one’s time here is very strong.  We have a way for all students to leave their name that will be permanent and won’t be sanded, painted over, or removed. For gift of $250, an engraved plaque will be added to the back of a Dining Hall Chair. What better way to leave a mark that they can show their own children or grandchildren in the years to come.

Theatre Chair

When the the Fountain Cultural & Performing Arts Centre was designed in 2007, the new chairs in the theatre were made available for commemorative purchase. For gift of $500, an engraved memorial plaque will be added to the arm of a seat in the theatre, honouring the legacy of the deceased Alum, Staff Member, Friend, or Family Member you wish to be remembered in a permanent way. If you are interested in this programme, please fill out the donation form on this page, or contact the Alumni & Advancement Office at or 902-798-2278 ext. 2248.
