Meet George Rogers Jr. ('71), the Alumnus behind the Fideliter Fund Gift Matching Challenge!
George is a Vice-President and Portfolio Manager with BMO Nesbitt-Burns Inc. and triangulates his time between Calgary, Charlottetown, and Ft. Lauderdale. He is also one of three generations of Rogers who passed through KES in 80 years. Loyal and passionate about the School, George has been quietly supporting KES in many ways, including sitting on the Inglis Education Foundation Board, continuing a longstanding scholarship in James Nicholson’s memory (James was a young KCS Alumnus who died in Vietnam in 1968), making a gift to KES in his Will, and now, igniting a Gift Matching Challenge in support of KES Students whose families have been significantly impacted by the COVID 19 pandemic.
The goal of George’s Gift Matching Challenge is to encourage Alumni, Parents, and KES Families to support the Fideliter Fund. Effective immediately, all donations to Student financial aid will be matched by George up to $60,000! If you are considering a donation to KES, now is the perfect time to double your impact and hopefully George's gift of $60,000 to financial aid will become $120,000…or more! Let’s not waste a dollar of this generous matching gift opportunity!
George, thank-you for the time and the gifts you have given to King’s-Edgehill School over the past thirty years. It is humbling and a source of pride to be part of a School where its Alumni care so deeply about the present and the future of our School.
