We are delighted to report that as of September 1st, our Fideliter Fund total was $82,152.  When we add the $60,000 gift that George Rogers ’71 contributed as a matching gift, the grand total is $142,152

Thanks to the generosity of Alumni, Current and Past Parents, Grandparents, Board Members, and Staff, we will now have every returning Student, who requested support from the Fideliter Fund, here with us on opening day!

Although we are saddened that we are unable to welcome as many new International Students to campus this September, we are grateful that our returning Students and new Students will still be arriving. They surely will breathe life back onto Campus… and, so much of that positive energy wouldn’t be possible without our incredible Donors.

Your kindness has lifted the spirits of many, and you have helped to ensure that our Students currently enrolled at KES can remain a part of our Community regardless of the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on their families.

As we try our best to plan for the upcoming School year, the reality is the demand for financial assistance linked to COVID-19 will likely continue to grow in our School Community. Although our Fideliter Fund Campaign is coming to an end, we will ensure that Student Financial Aid remains a top priority for our 2020-2021 Annual Giving Campaign.

We are all blessed to be a part of this amazing School community where the Students are fabulous, the Teachers & Staff are passionate, and you, the Families and Alumni, continue to demonstrate your support and commitment to KES even at a time when health and economic uncertainty is weighing heavily upon all of us.

Please accept our heartfelt thanks for stepping up and providing urgent support to our Students.

With gratitude,
The KES Advancement & Alumni Team

Gift Matching Challenge

Meet George Rogers Jr. ('71),  the Alumnus behind the Fideliter Fund Gift Matching Challenge!

George is a Vice-President and Portfolio Manager with BMO Nesbitt-Burns Inc. and triangulates his time between Calgary, Charlottetown, and Ft. Lauderdale. He is also one of three generations of Rogers who passed through KES in 80 years. Loyal and passionate about the School, George has been quietly supporting KES in many ways, including sitting on the Inglis Education Foundation Board, continuing a longstanding scholarship in James Nicholson’s memory (James was a young KCS Alumnus who died in Vietnam in 1968), making a gift to KES in his Will, and now, igniting a Gift Matching Challenge in support of KES Students whose families have been significantly impacted by the COVID 19 pandemic.

The goal of George’s Gift Matching Challenge is to encourage  Alumni, Parents, and KES Families to support the Fideliter Fund. Effective immediately, all donations to Student financial aid will be matched by George up to $60,000! If you are considering a donation to KES, now is the perfect time to double your impact and hopefully George's gift of $60,000 to financial aid will become $120,000…or more! Let’s not waste a dollar of this generous matching gift opportunity!

George, thank-you for the time and the gifts you have given to King’s-Edgehill School over the past thirty years. It is humbling and a source of pride to be part of a School where its Alumni care so deeply about the present and the future of our School.
