A message from Joe Seagram:

The School year is underway, and our Students are settling into their new normal in the KES Bubble. While this year continues to bring fresh challenges, we are fortunate to be the first approved Designated Learning Institution (DLI) at the secondary school level in all of Canada! This means we can continue to welcome new Students (International and Canadian) into our School Community so long as we follow strict public health guidelines. With this designation comes great responsibility. We must safeguard the health and wellbeing of our Students and Staff while continuing to make KES accessible to a vibrant and diverse Student body. Being able to safely offer a balanced yet stimulating education for every KES Student is a dream that, at times, did not look possible last spring.
The best way to keep our Students together and safe is to a) help them afford the School, and b) get them outside as much as possible. Our experience so far this year has shown that transforming our outdoor spaces has been a huge success enhancing the social, mental, and physical health of all our Students. Given that the pandemic has affected so many Families financially, our Annual Giving Campaign this year is focused both on financial aid and enhancing our outdoor facilities.
Your gift to this year’s Beyond the Classroom Annual Giving Campaign will have an immediate impact on the lives of KES Students. Being a not-for-profit School, KES does not receive ANY government funding for outdoor facilities or financial aid.  This is why we need your support. If you have any questions about the Annual Giving Campaign, please contact Jenn Shaw: Advancement and Alumni Officer at 902-798-2278 or by email at jshaw@kes.ns.ca.
Every gift, regardless of size, makes a difference.
 With thanks,

Joe Seagram
Headmaster

P.S. If you have already made your gift, THANK-YOU, we truly appreciate your support!
