Past:
The Alumni Association of King’s Collegiate School (KCS) began in June 1904 and for the girls of Edgehill in June 1901. In 1986, following the amalgamation of the two schools in 1976, the two associations became one, now known as the King’s-Edgehill School Alumni Association (KESAA).
The terms designated for the associated male and female members are affectionately known as “Old Boy” and “Old Girl”. The membership to the Association is open to any student who has attended KCS, Edgehill or King’s-Edgehill School and has successfully completed one full year or more. |

Present:
As was the founding goal, the KESAA carries on with the same aims of maintaining the interest of all “Old Boys” and “Old Girls” in the School and each other, and promoting the success and prosperity of the School. The aims of the KESAA connect all those who have experienced their school days at the School; it perpetuates and preserves the Alumni traditions and maintains Alumni Records in its archives; it preserves a connecting link of events at the School and in each others’ doings; it stimulates amongst the present day generation, a healthy rivalry in the classroom and on the sporting field, by offering prizes, scholarships and participating in the occasional sporting and social events. |

Our Future:
Each year new members, currently Grade 12 students, join the Association for a fee, which is maintained by the Alumni Office. The membership fees are tax deductible and are invested in the King’s-Edgehill Alumni Association Guild and Foundation Trust Fund. The interest from the Trust Fund is used annually to fund the alumni prizes and scholarships. All members who have paid for their life membership have the right to vote at the Annual General Meeting, as well as to become eligible to be a member of the Alumni Board of Directors. |
