The application for admission to King's-Edgehill School involves six components. In order for a student to be accepted all aspects of the application procedure must be complete. These include:
Application form
Medical form
Academic records
Entrance exam
Interview (in person or by phone where distance is a factor)
Application fee $25.00 Canadian/ $100.00 International (This must be paid prior to taking the entrance examinations)
Return the application forms A to D to the administration office of King's-Edgehill. A cheque or money order for Cdn. $25.00 (domestic) or Cdn. $100.00 (international) must accompany the application. Please enclose a recent photograph of the candidate.
Take the confidential Academic report form to the principal or head of guidance at the applicant's current school, and ask that the completed form and academic reports be mailed directly to King’s-Edgehill. Sign the parent authorization section of the form in advance, directing your child's school to release the necessary information. Parents are reminded that full disclosure of all information pertinent to their child's application (academic, social, etc.) is expected. Failure to do so could result in withdrawal of an offer of admission or in dismissal.
Telephone the administration office (902.798.2278, ext. 3593) to arrange for an interview. An entrance test may be written on the day of the interview.
All students are required to take the entrance examinations. Please contact the admissions office at admissions@kes.ns.ca, or call 902.792.3593 to set up an appointment for the entrance examinations. Boarding applicants who cannot travel to the Windsor area may take the examinations under the supervision of a responsible individual in their home area. If it is necessary for you to do this, please notify the Admissions Office.
