Junior School curriculum ensures that students are well prepared for high school, with a strong foundation in the humanities and sciences, and in the visual and performing arts. Grade 9 students choose to focus on art or music, though additional participation in school bands, theatre, and art projects is, of course, open to all. Streamed classes in the Junior School mean that students work at a pace most suited to their needs. Flexibility is key, and our programme allows students to move between Academic & Honours streams as we identify new talents and growing skills.
"And we have evening Prep, which is study hours," says Luis Mingo, a grade 8 student who also takes guitar and downhill skiing, "so you can get everything done; you don't have to worry about finding extra time."
